PharmaWare originally was a joint venture between taskarena AG and Pass-Consulting Services. PharmaWare has been taken over by Achim Greif in 2005. PharmaWare is a member of EphMRA. | | Achim Greif (born in 1956) is a specialist for Analysis software and Business Intelligence Applications with a focus on the special demands of the pharmaceutical industry. | From 1977 through 1983, he studied mathematics, economic geography and history in Bonn, Germany, while already working as a software developer and system administrator. From 1983 through 1988, Achim Greif worked as a consultant and software developer at the Institute for Numerical Statistics (IFNS) in Cologne, Germany. In 1988, he founded GTW Datentechnik GmbH in Bonn, Germany, working as the companies Managing Director. Until in 1999/2000, GTW Datentechnik merged into newly founded taskarena AG, located in Unna, Germany. Greif was a member of the board of taskarena and later became Managing Director of the daughter company taskarena Software Engineering (taSE), with a staff of 70 people. In 2003, Achim Greif participated in the management buyout (MBO) of the taSE GmbH, along with co-workers and an investor. In 2005, taSE was sold to IMS Health AG. From 2005 through 2007, Achim Greif was the Managing Director of the IMS Software GmbH In 2008, he became an independent consultant as well as Managing Director of PharmaWare GmbH. |
